The Mayor, The Wind Turbine & The Cell Tower

I was reading in the Record the other day that Mayor Rumana would like to construct a cell tower atop the water tower on Jackson Avenue.
I was surprised by that. Because the Mayor is opposed to a wind turbine at Wayne Auto Spa to create clean, renewable electricity based on its height and appearance.
I guess the Mayor thinks that a cell tower atop a water tower less than 2 miles from Wayne Auto Spa isn’t an eyesore. Or maybe he thinks cell service is more important than pollution, global warming, dependence on foreign oil & resource conservation.
Beats me….
